The coolest thing I've ever made...

Well, lets see...
There are a couple of things that come to mind when I think about things I've made or created. One of my favorite projects was making a bird house with my dad. This happened a long time ago, but the birdhouse still stands today. We made the birdhouse out of wood and put a sheet of metal over the top to keep the wood from rotting. Anyways It was way cooler than the projects i had to make in industrial arts.

The coolest thing I've ever made doesn't really have a lot to do with writing, and it definitely wasn't writing. I'm not really sure how it would relate to writing. The way building a bird house might relate to writing is that it will have invention strategies, different ways of making the birdhouse. There could also be a specific style to the birdhouse, like being fancy (which ours was not). Also just like writing my birdhouse has a specific audience, birds.

Writing is a way to express your thoughts on paper. It is not just "to trace or form (characters, letters, words, etc.) on the surface of some material, as with a pen, pencil, or other instrument"
even though that is a key part to writing. Writing means a lot of things, it is a different way to portray your ideas and communicate. "writing is speech put into a visible form"- Elizabeth Boone Hill.
